Welcome to my corner of the fishing world. My name is Rhett Gehring, and I’ve been in guiding since I was eighteen years old.

I have been fishing for a long as I can remember. Nearly every moment I could I was out in my little boat developing my craft and learning the fishery.

I have a degree in biology from the Univeristy of Florida which add a component of understanding to my fishing style.

Beyond catching fish, it's about connecting with the serenity of the outdoors and fostering a deep appreciation for conservation.
Prime Fishing Destinations
The nature coast provides a unique and diverse fishing experience. From backcountry marshes, mangrove shorelines and creeks, to pristinely clear seagrass flats. This area is home to the largest living seagrass beds in the world, encouraging an incredibly healthy ecosystem. With three first magnitude springs feeding the estuary, juvenile fish have everything needed to thrive and mature fish can thermally refuge in the winter. It is truly a magical fishery.
